Terms of sale
How purchases, delivery and the use of our store work.
Last updated September 28, 2026.
These Terms of sale apply to every purchase of an eSIM data plan on yuzusim.com. Please read them before you pay. When you accept the terms on the Stripe payment page, you accept the version of these Terms published on the day of your purchase.
1. Who sells the eSIM
YuzuSIM is a brand of LuKas Holdings sp. z o.o., ul. Stefana Batorego 18/108, 02-591 Warsaw, Poland, entered in the Polish National Court Register (KRS) under number 0001233010, NIP 7011306806, REGON 54439709700000, EU VAT ID PL7011306806 (“YuzuSIM”, “we”, “us”).
You can reach us at [email protected] or through our contact form.
We sell prepaid eSIM profiles that connect to mobile networks in Japan, South Korea, mainland China and Hong Kong. The networks are run by mobile carriers at those destinations. Some plans use a profile from a carrier in another country that connects through a partner network at the destination (roaming). None of these carriers is a party to your purchase. We buy the eSIM profiles from an authorised distributor.
2. What you buy
- An eSIM is a digital SIM profile. You install it on a compatible phone by scanning a QR code or by entering an SM-DP+ address and an activation code. No app is needed.
- Before you pay, the plan listing shows the destination and supported network, the data allowance (in total, per day or unlimited), the validity in days and when it starts, whether calls, SMS, a phone number or hotspot sharing are included, and the price.
- A plan works only at the destination it is sold for, unless its page lists other places.
- The validity starts when the eSIM first connects to a supported network. Installing it alone does not start the validity period.
- A daily allowance renews every day on the network’s schedule. Once an allowance is used up, the network may slow down or stop mobile data until it renews or the plan ends. Plans cannot be topped up or extended unless the plan says so.
- Keep your QR code and activation details private. Follow the installation instructions included with your order.
3. Phone compatibility
Before you buy, check that your phone supports eSIM and is not locked to a carrier. Our compatible phones page explains how. Our commercial refund policy does not cover an incompatible or locked phone, subject to your statutory rights (see the Refund policy).
4. Ordering and payment
- Prices are one-time totals, including applicable tax. The site selects a supported display currency based on your location, with USD as a fallback. The amount and currency shown on Stripe are the amount and currency charged. Your bank may apply its own conversion or card fees. There is no subscription or automatic renewal.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. You can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, where your device and browser support them. We never receive or store your full card details.
- The contract is concluded when Stripe confirms your payment. If the payment fails or the payment page expires, no contract is concluded and you are not charged.
- One order is one eSIM.
- We may refuse or cancel an order before delivery if we suspect fraud or if the plan is no longer available. If you have already been charged, we refund the full amount.
5. Delivery
- The eSIM is delivered electronically. After payment, your order page shows the QR code, the SM-DP+ address, the activation code and the installation steps, and we send them to the email address you gave at checkout.
- Your order page has a private link. Keep the link and the order email private: anyone with the QR code can install the eSIM, and a profile can usually be installed only once.
- If you lose the link, you can ask for it again on our Find my eSIM page.
- If automatic delivery fails, we contact you by email. If we cannot deliver the eSIM within 2 business days of payment, we refund you in full.
6. Right of withdrawal
If you are an EU consumer, you generally have 14 days from the conclusion of a distance service contract to withdraw without giving a reason. Email [email protected] with a clear statement that you wish to withdraw, your order number and the email used for the order. You can also use our contact form. You do not need to use a particular form.
At checkout you accept: “I agree to the Terms and Refund policy and request immediate eSIM delivery. My statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.”
Your request allows us to start fulfilling your order during the withdrawal period. Delivery of a QR code does not, by itself, remove statutory withdrawal rights. Any exception to withdrawal, or proportionate charge for a service already supplied at your express request, applies only where the law permits it and its requirements have been met. For services, full performance and the required prior consent and acknowledgement are relevant; different rules can apply to digital content. We do not treat every eSIM order as automatically exempt on delivery.
Where you validly withdraw, we reimburse the amount due without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the original payment method. Your rights concerning faulty or non-conforming services also remain in place. See our Refund policy for our additional commercial refund commitment.
7. Refunds
Refunds are handled under our Refund policy. We provide a full refund if the eSIM does not work at the destination it was sold for and we cannot fix it, or if we do not deliver it; a working eSIM does not qualify for a discretionary change-of-mind refund after delivery, subject to statutory withdrawal and other consumer rights.
8. Using the eSIM
- Use the eSIM lawfully and within the network’s fair use rules. Do not resell it or use it in SIM boxes, for bulk messaging or for automated traffic.
- Which networks you can use, and which websites and apps you can reach, depend on the plan and the destination. The plan listing names the supported network before you pay.
- In mainland China, local networks follow Chinese regulations, and some foreign websites and apps cannot be reached on them. We cannot promise that a particular website or app will be available.
- Mobile lines in Japan, South Korea, mainland China and Hong Kong are subject to registration rules. If the network or our distributor asks for identity details to activate the line or keep it active, the line may not work or may be suspended until you provide them.
- Coverage, speed and availability are provided by the network and vary with location, buildings, time of day and network load.
9. Liability
- We are responsible for delivering a working eSIM profile that matches the plan you bought.
- Beyond refunding the price under the Refund policy, we are not responsible for losses caused by network outages, gaps in coverage, restrictions on websites and apps at the destination or other network decisions outside our control, or by installing the eSIM on an incompatible or locked phone.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights if the eSIM does not conform to the contract.
10. Complaints
Send complaints to [email protected] or through our contact form, with your order number or the link to your order page, a description of the problem and, if possible, screenshots. We reply within 14 days.
If you are a consumer, you can also get free help from a consumer advice body in your country. In Poland, this is the municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów). Information about out-of-court dispute resolution is published by the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection at uokik.gov.pl.
11. Personal data
We process personal data as described in our Privacy policy. Cookies and similar technologies are explained in our Cookie information.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, for example when the law or our plans change. Your purchase is governed by the version you accepted before checkout. Each version carries its date at the top of this page.
13. Governing law and courts
These Terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not take away the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you normally live, and you may bring a claim before the courts of that country.
14. Language
These Terms are written in English. If we publish them in other languages and the versions differ, the English version prevails, except where the law of your country lets you rely on the version in your language.
